Affirming Care in Changing Social Climates:
Live CE Zoom Training:
Sponsored by the Western Oregon Mental Health Alliance (WOMHA)
Mental health providers are practicing in a time when LGBTQ+ identities are increasingly politicized and marginalized. Clinicians must be equipped to deliver culturally responsive care that affirms sexual orientation, gender identity, and diverse lived experiences while navigating systemic inequities and sociopolitical stressors affecting clients.
This training provides an advanced exploration of culturally responsive practice with LGBTQ+ communities through case discussion, structured reflection, and experiential exercises.
